Why analytics?

Businesses and individuals hire me to track and analyze their website's analytics to learn about the behaviour of its visitors and determine which content and strategies are working and which ones are not. Having the information to know what's working and what isn't working can not only provide measurable long-term profit but also reduce unnecessary time and costs.


ProcessWhat a typical analytics project looks like

As soon as I receive an email from you, I'll review your information (whatever you've provided to me in the email) and will email you back with additional questions. We can communicate how you prefer - whether you like email, would prefer an in-person meeting or over the phone, or would like to video chat via Skype or another platform.

Once I understand your goals and strategies in regards to your website, your business and your goals, I'll provide you with a proposal and a confidentiality agreement for initiating the one-time or ongoing analytics program. The proposal will include the cost and scope of the project.

Once I receive the signed proposal from you, we'll go forward with the analytics program as outlined in the proposal. You will be invoiced during this time as will also be outlined in the proposal (depending on the project, you will be invoiced on a monthly basis for the ongoing project). I will also be in communication with you or a designated member of your team to ask further questions as outlined in the proposal.

As the project gets underway, I'd like to set up quarterly meetings to review the project and receive your thoughts of the information received as well as any business changes that have been made because of the analytic reviews. I will also want to make sure you still feel that you're receiving a good value for the cost of the project. We can discuss the scope of the project during these meetings.

A quick note about the prices

It's difficult to estimate costs for the services that I offer without knowing anything about you, the client. However, that's exactly what I'm going to do because I would want to know this information if I were you, too!

Wayne Sporting Goods is located in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Wayne was struggling to keep new traffic on their website. I was able to help them identify which of their content was performing the best and keeping people on their site and determined a plan to put this content at the center of their website strategy.

Faidley's Seafood

Faidley's is a seafood restaurant located in Baltimore, Maryland. Faidley's visitors typically visit their website in search of something specific (e.g. menu, hours). We needed to review the analytics to see how to improve the experience of the user's looking for this information while also encouraging them to stick around and digest other important content that Faidley's has to share as well.
